1. Melee combat overhaul
2. Interesting guns mod
3. Reworked checkpoint system
Let's start with these 3 and hope this make game better. On second thought, it might be job for developers to actually fix their game.
2) More types of guns (including melee)
3) More types of suits with different statistics and upgrades
2) Backtracking fix - stop locking all doors right behind me!
3) More zoomed out view, where Jacob's back doesn't occupy 1/3 of the screen at all times
Agreed.
1) doesn't make any sense considering the variety of items you can pick-up. Sure, if they add more diversity (I read 2) and 3)), then it would make sense. But if they do that, I think 1) is automatically done :P
Plus, it would be hilarious to see some of the cut-scenes (even more so if the mod just replaced Jacobs dialogue with slightly contextual dialogue from the Sentries). So like - when you first escape with Elias your guy is just like "RETURN TO YOUR CELL".
Plus, was hanging around the messed up ones at one point for a few moments - and caught that they rarely make the Dial-Up noise when "dead"; so that would be a hilarious death rattle also lol.
