NEW PATCH, OLD PROBLEMS!
The Patch of 7/12/22 doesn't work.

I can't reed the carachters in the menu of weapons-shop, and in the general menù.

GRAFIC RESOLUTION IS STILL IMPOSSIBLE TO SET.

My money for this... THIS IS A SCAM.

It can only be a scam for impatient people. Otherwise, if you wait long enough they patch the game and it goes on sale making it a much more valuable investment.
keep raising up your issue here fam, i believe they have people here to survey all listed issue and improve the game. im really sorry if u feel waste money on this game. its a lesson for both of us to learn. cheers mate

That's FSR, just change the FSR setting to something higher, like quality, or disable it.
Cheers

I'm with 4Klassic here. Just turn it off. With the bad implementation of hyperthreading,
it just won't do much. because you are likely CPU limited. Not because of a bad CPU but because of the bad threaded optimization. No matter what CPU you sport. Maybe there would be minor differences.
DogWater Dec 7, 2022 @ 5:23am
You can't change resolution because you're not running fullscreen mode. Text is blurry because you're using FSR performance probably. As dumb as it sounds text gets put through the upscaler. Also FSR is useless anyway particularly on performance, no gains vs quality and minor gains vs just running native, as stated above CPU reasons etc.

Depends, I'm GPU Bound because I have a mere 1650 Super FSR makes a big difference for me, but yeah FSR implementation could leave HUD elements out of the equation, but since it's a hologram inside the game it also gets affected, so it makes sense.

I don't know the gen.iovani specs

I'd love to be GPU bound :( I have yet to see my 3080 go higher than 90% at wqhd native without RT. Hovers around 80-90% with drops as low as 60% while the CPU is sitting there taking a nap on most cores while still bottlenecking the GPU. It's actually funny when benchmarking I have like 150 fps around 90% utilization and then framerate tanks to 55-65fps and the GPU is just there picking its nose at 60% utilization. It's pretty frustrating to see poor performance because the hardware isn't being used. Can't imagine how annoying it would be with a 4080+.

With RT in other games that use it properly have to upscale because the GPU turns into a desk heater at full utilization but still can't push a good framerate at that resolution. That's fine, everything is doing its job and ray tracing is incredibly demanding. First time ever that I see similar framerate at native with RT, higher even, with the GPU just chilling being useless. Certainly due to rushing to market, It feels like software that was programmed with no understanding of how a PC functions. I'm sure the tech part of the studio does know better but it seems like everybody just pooled their efforts into getting the very specific PS5 version running "well". Xbox is laughable and PC runs like it was translated from console by an intern who took a 5 day holiday in PC land once. I'm sure that's not actually the case but it is what the end result looks like.

Luckily even the PS5 resolution/settings/framerate target is so unimpressive by modern PC standards that a lot of people can just bruteforce reasonable performance (without RT) by PC standards despite their hardware being massively underutilized.

I think most people underestimate the usage of CPU when it comes to ray tracing. Take Spider Man an example. The ray tracing on there is very much CPU bound. Which is counterintuitive to the expected performance. Ray tracing should be GPU bound, right?
It is not. So the more your CPU is limited by bad threaded optimization, the more your performance will suffer.

Probably I was bottlenecking my 1650 Super with my R5 3600, my GPU usage was maxed when targeting 60 FPS, but there were some drops at some points and GPU usage was like 94%, this under DX12, medium settings 1080P.

Altough some areas I was getting 40/45 FPS GPU Usage 99%, got tired, just capped at 30 FPS XD console style.

But that's a 1650 super, it's unacceptable for users that pay 1$ grand for a GPU and with High end CPUs to struggle to hit 60 FPS due to CPU Bound scenarios!

Its funny because with a 4090, max settings without RT, 3440x1440...i get the exact same performance you are. Average 150fps through brute force with gpu utilization typically around 50%. Still get those giant fps swings though with fps dropping in the 50s. Gsync is great but, its hard not to notice 100fps swings.

I can read main menu and reforge menu in 4k resolution with FSR 2 in performance mode no problem at all. Try altering your resolution and FSR quality.
4Klassic Dec 7, 2022 @ 8:10am
But Sylvia, that's because you are at 4k, FSR Performance for you render at 1080P
If someone is playing at 1080P and uses FSR Performance it will render at 540P XD

Take a look:

HELLO FRIENDS, thnx to all for the attention. THIS IS A VERY GOOD COMMUNITY.

NOW...

the problem 4 tex in the HUB menùs, is when the FSR is ON.

but the grafic resolution still not visible in numers.

NOW, the game is playble at 70/80 % of his settings and RTX off, WHIT my 3060 and ryzen 7.

THNX FOR YOUR HELP.

AND STILL WAITING FOR A REAL CORRECT OPTIMIZATION.

GG

That's because this game has terrible CPU utilization. The game is too single threaded and bottlenecks your GPU's performance. Anybody who thinks compilation stutter is the only issue is delusional.
