Didn't you ever notice how the co-op mode for DS3 pretty much ruined the whole single player balancing? Yes co-op can be fun, but I prefer a good single player experience.
to be honest, there are just so many overwhelmingly positive singleplayer games out there, but all they do is turn me into a shut-in. i want the same quality of games where i could experience it with my gf and friends.
again, you can disagree all you want. but does anyone have an ACTUAL answer as to why games shouldn't be coop?
If you hear someone say they don't want coop in their single player horror game, that's because it has never worked well in the past. RE5, AitD: Illumination and DS3 are some examples. It led to balancing problems and often meant that the factor of self-conquest and good horror atmosphere was destroyed (which also affected SP mode). These games also became a lot more action-heavy, which nobody really wanted.
If one day it's possible to combine the best of both worlds without the modes interfering with each other, then I think very few would object. In order to achieve this, however, the game would have to be built twice from the ground up. I think a lot of people don't realize how much changes, both technically and in terms of gameplay, when playing with two people.

I love to see you just ignore the facts I mentioned earlier and try to insult someone who has 8x as many games as you and 5x as many Steam friends as you by saying that someone has no friends to play co-op and that is why he doesn't want co-op in this game.
