Image Quality Setting?

So I'm realizing that "image quality" is essentially super-sampling, but I'm not sure which setting to use. I'm assuming 1 is the default but it's making a lot of textures look pretty bad and jagged.

I'd play with it more to find a good balance, but the timer...

Yeah worry about it more in the full game, not 1hr demo hah. With your specs can easily run the game especially at 1080p, the setting I think is super-sampling. I'm on similar specs with a 1080ti and runs amazing at 1440p highest settings

For me that setting, which I assume is the typical "Resolution Scale" from previous games, messes up my FPS, and to fix it I have to set it to 0.5 Scale/Quality, wait 5 seconds, and it's back to normal, then I can use 1.0 Scale again with good FPS.

Same performance issue happens if I use DSR downsampling, so I guess for some reason or at least in my case the game has issues with downsampling.

Also anyone has really bad looking Film Noise effect indoors? Looks like white dots instead of the good looking filter RE 2 Remake uses. It looks fine outdoors so it must be messing with the lighting or something, but that's not how a good noise filter should look, as mentioned, RE 2R looks as it should with it (and helped with color banding too).

Oh yeah, and also the lack of FOV slider, that's 3 issues I have so far with the demo, and probably didn't find more because the 60 minutes are over but, overall, game looks good enough even at native resolution, but hopefully the day one version has some of these issues fixed, and that FOV....for the love of poor little Ethan, he's gonna go blind with no peripheral vision here :P

In case anyone was curious, I found out that my issue was the Variable Rate Shading setting. Disabling this setting removed the strange textures.
