I played the demo and assumed that the quest giver for this that I would turn back into would be somewhere on the mainland, but I haven't seen where this quest ends. Granted I haven't gone out of Fallowfields, but can someone give me a hint where this quest end is?

For me he was hiding out in one of the caves in hammer island

I think the location of the cave is random though.

The location isn't concrete, but it's usually visible in the rough vicinity of the broken hammerwatch castle bridge.
