Resting Place Puzzle?

Somewhere inside there is a grave surrounded by 8 stones that can rotate between a sword and a bow. What are you supposed to do with that?

I already tried brute forcing every possible combination. Nothing happened which means you need the correct layout and to do something else.

You need the elven codex to decipher the language and you get that by having the Lunas Lens and walking on the magic path to the shrine east of Nild or whatever the destroyed town is called and you get the Lunas Lens by digging on the spot indicated on the Lunas Lens location map although I don't recall where the map is received from
This allows you to beat the puzzle but it doesn't give you the solution, you still have to either find it out or brute force it.

There's a grave that will spawn in a random location on the fallowfields region, which will tell you the correct combination.

Hard to be more specific, there are so many places the grave can spawn. I guess they'll all eventually be documented on the wiki.

If you find Rosie's Grave, that's what you're looking for.

It's a lone gravestone, not part of the graveyard and has a interact option to read it.

Was right up in the north-east (north of the broken bridge) on my map (by the couple of grapevines and wasps)

I found the lone grave yard and I followed its instructions, however when I went back to the graveyard puzzle and put the combination in nothing happened.. is there something I’m missing?

I just used an online "all possible combinations generator" and tried every single combination in a brute force attempt, clicking the middle after each time, none of them work, I think you need to do the quest.

yes you cannot bruteforce it. some trigger is needed.not sure if you need the quest or do something specific.
but its impossible to solve when you first get there.
