Help with maze boss?

[Confusing Name]

How does one beat Malgar Kay? We came across her natively, as in no instructions or tips from any npcs, but aren't quite sure what else to do besides her. She is giving us a really hard time and it feels like we are either missing a mechanic or taking her on too early.

She is difficult, no doubt. Constantly teleporting around and making clone/decoys, with lots of spells going off all over.

There is an item that makes traversing the maze easier, but other than that I'm guessing you've simply started the fight too soon. She is a story boss, not optional, so once you get the quest to fight her she should be easier (though she's still difficult).

Bro, have you found Ria's book at the Superbia castle? That dungeon is so freaking annoying... every mob is super tanky against my wizard attacks.

Yes I have, I also made the mistake of not reading the quest properly and I brute forced my way up until the corruption floors before re-reading it and realising her book doesn't require any fighting at all to find. XD

I'm not chasing her, but instead I stay in one corner and only attack when she approaches.

Really? How can I avoid the guys to beat me? On the first floor, they dont attack me, but on the second and beyond they get mad at me.

At least in my game, the quest actually says something along the lines of "I hid it in the study just to the left of the throne room" , which is on the first floor.

It's funny to see so many other people make the same mistake I did and climb to the top of the castle in search of the book because we couldn't be bothered reading through all the quest dialogue xD

I'm having a hard time with this boss too. I beat the wishless resting place boss already, but can barely get the maze boss to half health before running out of potions. I'm level 23

idk how to kill him cuz ive beaten him twice now and the game tells me " i cant kill the avatar " and then he just ressurects

If the boss is getting back up, you're not yet up to the point in the game where you're suppose to fight her. I made the same mistake. You should have a necklace from a prior quest before going to fight her.
