Wool Production at Zero
Hello, all!
I am in year 30-something and am struggling with keeping my wool stocked. I have a couple of ranches with sheep, however some have a production of zero. I have one small ranch from early game that produces a very small amount of wool. I built three large (20x20) ranches for sheep and all three list production of wool (and meat for that matter) at zero. However, the large cow ranch directly adjacent to this sheep ranch is producing goods.

Am I missing something? Does wool production depend on where the ranch was built, similar to the foresters hut and all that?

Thanks for the help!

Have you checked the warehouse and seen the In/Out for a year after they have been active? Its very possible that the wool is just being drained by other production.

It is usually the case when a production shows 0, I get it with grapes and apples some time.

I have also noticed that the sheep get killed. I wish you could choose between wool and meat or both. If collecting only wool; sheep wont be killed and remain to maximum limit. If collecting only meat; sheep get killed constantly which produces slightly less wool but gives meat. If on both; behaves like meat collecting.
Then you could have two sheep farms; one with wool only and the other for meat only.

Totally agree with this. Ranches should have priority options like the foresters hut. Similar to how you can choose cut and plant, cut, or plant for trees, you should be able to choose similar options for ranches: cull, breed, cull and breed.
