Forester's hut and Gathering

should I place 2 or 3 together? What I have been doing is 3 the one in the middle cutting and the other two planting. Also for the gathering hut, is anything, other then trees, needed to boost efficiency?

hi tyler--i find using gather all at the start is the best -- as most players do --and cut down a big area of forest and put a forester hut in the middle of the area-- a road to main hut and just on the edge of hut area on the road a storage and a wood cutters hut that gives you a great start --then as wood starts to go down- you can do that again in another area and by then you see a heap of new tree growing in the first area and the forester cutting them down ---i put 2 fishing huts in first now i found them better than gathering hut at start -you do one latter--then a hunting lodge -mainly to start getting fur for clothing-as well as food --hope that helps--the last map i played was oasis a challange one but had to delete it --i had so much stuff in storage too many settler all i was doing was non stop building houses and storage--the devs have change the population thing now-so going to start again--good gaming all
