I wish some kind of lines were reworked

Flame me, I don't care. But as much as I love Gig, this type of language nowdays makes me feel uncomfortable. I wish they'd changed it without being out of character. Because, in any way, he wasn't the insulting VULGAR type of guy, so they already censored him when they first created him, they used that word often because it wasn't considered insultive in a disrupt way as it is now. If it was considered insultive in that sense they would've never made him say that in the first place.

He often says things like "Maggots" aswell. Don't you think that they couldn't find any other word to make it even MORE offensive? Of course they could, there are plenty of insultive words, they just didn't because it would've been too disrupt and vulgar, even out of character.

I lowkey wished they would've changed some dialogue keeping his character and pushing him further even more.

It's funny, playing through the game so far, but Gig in Japanese is very rude and disrespectful. Like... yeah, I don't think Gig gives a ♥♥♥♥ about using nice words or anything. It's amusing how rude his language is.

100% agree. We need a renewal of the Rites of Passage for boys and girls. You're not a legal adult until you can pass these important rites which force people to grow up and gain proper perspective. Kinda funny you mentioned that book since I'm rereading it right now lol

Yeah, Gig even uses the word "gyp" (I wish I capped that) which...... is literally a racial slur for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (somehow Steam considers the slur "gyp" to not be censor worthy but the ethnic name ♥♥♥♥♥ is? lmao Steam). And he doesn't even use it like "I got gyp'd) which isn't a slur in that use. He used it in referring to someone as a gyp; that's how the slur was originally used.
