Hello Cybers!


We have some great news for you! The Demo version of our game will be available during the Steam Next Fest, starting Monday 6th of February at 10 A.M. Pacific Time.
Our team will be there for you to answer all the questions regarding the Demo or the full release, so feel free to come and chat with us during our Livestream.

After finishing the Demo you will be presented with a survey containing different questions about our game. We would really appreciate all your feedback as it will help us push our game forward.


Next news is the newest trailer of our game along with the refreshed Steam Page. As you can see we have made some significant changes to our game and the way it looks, we will be sharing with you a lot of information in the upcoming weeks, explaining all the changes, why we made them and how they will impact our gameplay. We hope you will all enjoy these changes as we think they helped us narrow down the gameplay of our game and make it more interesting and also to really focus on making sure every aspect is refined to perfection.

Hello Cybers!

We're back after a long break. Recently, our cyber team has been working on new buildings in the game. We would like to show you some examples of buildings that will be available for building cities in the game.

Poor residential building
The screenshot shows the Poor residential building. Poor residential - housing for ordinary workers, cramped and not very comfortable, but better than barracks. Decreases the happiness of people living in it. Standart Residential is already a much better and comfortable apartment, but very more expensive to live in. Which apartments to build for their residents - it's only the player's decision.

Module Factory building
What to do with the mined resources? With the Module factory you can produce components from mined resources and sell them to the corporation for credits.

Cyber Games is not sleeping but working!
In today's devlog we would like to share with you some pictures created by our illustrator
Marcin. To answer briefly about the first two illustrations, they show the same building on two
different development levels.
The first illustration refers to Technology Laboratory level 1, while the second to Technology
Laboratory level 2. The building on the first level, the player will be able to upgrade to the
next level. Of course, this will have the benefit of bringing much better technology to our city.

There will be another form of building reinforcement in CyberTown. This will be done by
building two buildings next to each other. The example we want to show you is about the
Trade Center (first picture) which is a trade building. By building Airstrip (second picture) we
will be able to trade more goods on a larger scale. As you can see, it pays off!

The process of creating his graphics was recorded by Marcin. We would like to show you a little bit of what this process looks like.

Our 2D graphic designers have just finished working on graphics that we want to use as some of our game loading screens.

The first graphic was created by Natalia. She is a new member of our team, responsible for 2D graphics among other things. We would like to show off one of her first works, which depicts an extended city from an isometric view.

The next work belongs to Marcin. He is an illustrator who has been supporting the development of our project from the beginning.

He created his work taking a slightly different approach. Namely, the perspective that was chosen for the graphics is a look of an ordinary man on the streets of our city.

Among other things, the illustration features holograms in the form of koi carp what do you think of such additions in our cyber city?

Do you know what makes the city live? People 😊 If it wasn't for them the city would not be developing. In CyberTown people are as important as other resources that you collect .


CITY IS PEOPLE

CyberTown citizens define our city value. As a player, you can build different types of buildings, such as factories, corporate skyscrapers, laboratories or civilian buildings. By creating more buildings of a given type, more representatives of a given community start to appear on the streets. This affects the morale of our city and the relations between individual residents.

CORPORATE LIFE

The first group of citizens are people working in corporations. These are people who need to focus on their work. They mainly deal with the preparation of commercial offers and production management in udimentium factories and mines.
Corportaion buildings should usually be located close to warehouses and factories in order to control stocks of valuable raw materials. This speeds up many procedures related to manufacturing modules and overall production management. At the same time, the proximity of industrial buildings negatively affects the well-being of employees. It results in lower work efficiency and signing less profitable commercial contracts.

The above-described dependencies introduce mechanics in the game that the player must learn in order for his city to function properly. In the future logs we’re going to discuss other relationships between building categories in CyberTown.
