How do I get chests from Red roses.

I know I did this early on in the game but I cannot remember how to sneak up and get the chests that the red roses stare at, I cannot remember what keys to push or if I have to do something special, please help.

Put your bow away (default R key), then hit the sparks with your focus (I believe it’s default F). It’s a little weird and sometimes doesn’t go off. Just keep doing it. Do *not* hit the rose, it’ll kill it and you’ll have to wait for it to respawn

Correct, but I want to add a few things. Firstly, you can use Hocus any time by pressing F even if your weapon is drawn. Killing a rose counts as a good deed, so if you doing an evil playthrough, take care to not hit* them with the Hocus.

All you need to do is to "blow away the sparks". It's one of the very few "puzzles" The Voice spoils (in a sense).

You can’t get near the Red Roses with your bow out though. That’s the reason I didn’t bother saying you can use it with your bow out

Huh. I never noticed that. Maybe it's different when you are going for a Cursed playthrough. Do they get scared when you are Neutral/Grand and approach them while your bow is out?

Yea. They do. Pretty sure they do when you’re Cursed as well

They never did for me, and I had all 3 titles (Cursed Favorite, Lunar Queen and Cursed Beekeeper). Perhaps it's one of the titles (likely Beekeeper) that prevents them from fearing me (though, they still should, considering what I became to play as Cursed).

I guess I know now. Thanks for the heads-up.
