Makers, 

A true maker keeps their sleeves rolled up and never stops tweaking, improving and fixing. This patch, really more of a version if you will, adds some interesting game mechanics 

Major changes:

• Engine Tuning/Tweaking - Added ability to tweak engines on machines using the multi-tool

• Resource Recovery - Disassembled machines drop fuel and energy canisters so not lost now

• Combat Loot - Enemies drop energy canisters when destroyed

Minor changes:

• Added automatic break for machines so they don't roll when not active

• Added names to base building parts in build menu

• Added alert for machines with low fuel or energy

• Added a location to find the Range Antenna part

• Added new lore posters in various locations (below is one - can you find the other two?)

• Added collider placement hint

• Increased mouse sensitivity option

• Increased fuel amount in fuel station

• Adjusted fuel consumption and energy consumption of various parts

• Update mount icon

Fixes:

• Fixed non-responsive jump

• Fixed interaction options order not being persistent

• Fixed player tool selection sometimes not being responsive

• Fixed exception on exit to Steam

• Fixed Outpost gate colliders

• Fixed terminal part trying to consume when not attached

• Fixed tools cannot be invoked after machine prints another machine

• Fixed saving of energy resources in gas station and DTHP base

Happy Monday, Makers. 

Whoa, that week was crazy!

Hundreds of new makers joined and played for many thousands of hours.

Spent a bunch of time this past weekend to review all feedback and turn it into tasks for upcoming versions. Thank you everyone who took the time to play the game and send over feedback.

This new demo patch has the following changes:

• A brighter night - the moon now provides a soft light at night, improving contrast in the scene.

• Improved physics - downforce added at higher speeds (in proportion to speed) to reduce machine bounciness on collisions and provide more stability.

• Multiple save slots - save name created upon game start.

• Autosave functionality added. The game autosaves every 5 minutes cycling 3 slots per save name.

• Rockets shoot on mouse down vs mouse up.

• Bug fixed - after closing the map while using the build tool, interactivity was wrongfully enabled.

• Bug fixed - exception after destroying a machine before having a remote (the remote was trying to remove the machine from its list of controlled machines).

• Various small bug fixes.
