Janky as hell.

Very cool ambiance, music, UI, etc. I just strongly dislike the gameplay. After 1 hour I was allready bored. The game consists in one (1) (uno) (un) type of mission : take something from some place to another. For this, you need to build a mars rover with appropriate grabbing equipment.

The problem is that this is extremely repetitive. You're always on the surface of Mars, which is completely barren and unchanging. It does not feel like you're building something harder and harder each time, or progressing in any way. It just feels like a job. Couple that with the fact that the editor is extremely basic and does not allow complex constructions, and you've got yourself a refund.

Now to be clear, these are all things that could be improved over time, and probably will. But to me it is worrying that so much attention has been put in every aspect of the game apart from its gameplay.

This is not a game about building machines to do different tasks. It is a game about trying to navigate though mountains and dunes after you have figured out how to transport the item in question. It is 20% build a machine to do the task, 80% navigate around the map trying to find the smoothest way to get there. Hint: It is always a long, boring way around, hoping you don't hit a bump and are able to climb all the hills. If you want the puzzle of building machines to do things, this is not the game for you.

In the videos/previews, you only see the fun parts. There is 30 minutes of boring crap between picking up and dropping off.

Sorry devs, right now it is more about navigation and cartography than about building machines. :=(

Game is good but needs improvement. Two big issues, first the graphics style makes it very difficult to tell what the steepness of the terrain is like which leads into issue number two, the frustration of constantly falling down hills, valleys, dips and ledges. There is such a thing as being so realistic fun is no longer the main mechanic. Uninstalled before I hit 5% complete.

This game is really cute at first and then you get to having to operate 4+ servos and toggling linearly via a #key to each one is absolutely abysmal. Why wouldn't you just have the ability to bind any servo to a set of keys instead of toggling with numbers using the same control keys? That is REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful. On top of all this...idk if they purposefully chose this art style BECAUSE it accomplishes its charm through lack of depth characteristics. Point being, you can't tell the contour of what you're driving over until you're already on it, which is vital info when you're transporting crap with your jinky half-baked vehicles. I get the fun is in your own ineptitude and learning curve, but having really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls and almost no idea where I'm driving to took it from laughter to tedious frustration and quitting. Plays like Roblox Getting Over It, but without the ironic 'fun game' part.

Great idea but all the joy is totally sucked out of the game by the terrible terrain and lack of suspension. Makes what would be a cool fun game intol something that is just so infuriating. Give it a miss so you dont have to get mad too. I could maybe live with it if not for the awful style of the game which makes it nearly impossible to judge hills from certain angles. I loved this game for 2 hours, then hated it. What now I just use rockets? seems cheep and boring after you reaalise that

great in many ways, but i have absolute no idea why there are so many unreasonable limitation that basically ruin the game for me.

the game have material strength/elastic but you are not allow to link 2 poles/support together to make it more stable/stronger. servo motor are for no reason slippery, want more torque or speed? none it slipped.

together with the very limited module you have and the somewhat unrealistic man made mission limitation, it just ruined the would be very fun and creative game.

would go for game like trailxxxxx for a much reasonable design experience.

An alarming amount of players want to nerf or get rid of rocket boosters because they are "too useful" and they have no self control. Not only does the dev agree with them and will "take their comments into consideration" but they banned me for pointing out how stupid of an idea that is.

Well...I was looking forward to start to play it. I was excited to have found another game that looked to me like Beseige or Trailmaker. But so far, after 8 hours of playing, i feel i have been gathering pretty much the same items with pretty much the same "bot" they give you at the beginning with very minor mods, in pretty much the exact same somewhat boring (so far) map. The builder seems less advanced then Besiege or Trailmaker. The map and the objectives are less fun to do. Perhaps i did not give it enough time yet and havent unlocked enough items to build....but i just feel like there is no point unlocking them, since you can do every missions without really building anything special. One good simple bot does it all.
The graphics are nice i think, but the way the ground is textured makes it so that i can be very hard to know when you reach more "bumpy" surfaces, which gives the feeling you hit invisible bumps all the time. And with the very low gravity (its Mars...of course) any tiny bump kind of kicks you off in hardly predictable directions, which kind of make it frustrating at times. All in all, my feeling so far is, if you liked Besiege or Trailmaker, you will probably find it more fun to start these over than to play this one, which seems a bit like a poorly made copy. A bit disappointing. I got bored of Beseige and Trailmaker because they never really added new interesting missions outside of the original main quests. And to me, just i feel if there is no interesting mission, this just becomes a pointless builder.
