Working on LOD

Lower end devices (with e.g. integrated GPUs, older systems) and especially the VR mode need extra optimization to run on high frame-rate. I'm working on a LOD system to support great view distances and keep framerate high. Here are some comparisons. Some quick performance tests yield around 50% better performance but I think that's not all...

Current Status

Wow... long time since I created this entry here on Steam. I decided against finalizing the Steam version based on the old Discovery engine. Instead I began with a complete rewrite with modern engine/tech and especially clean code.

The new version has been released on April, the 1st as Early Access on the Meta Quest platform and is available on Android as Non-VR too.

The main focus on this reelase was the handtracking, mixed-reality and tabletop mode. All of these will also be available in the Steam version (mixed-reality not safe). This is how it looks

I have made massive progress in the last few weeks but there are some key features missing that need to be implemented before I can release it as a proper version here on Steam.

I'm closing with a small comparision between old and new engine. Stay tuned and spread the word!

Breh, I need this to come out ASAP.

I'm a sucker for Minecraft clones, and this one was actually really good back on the Wii U. I wanted to get it on my own Wii U before the eShop shutdown, but it looked like it had been delisted by then. I really don't want to get the game on Windows Store, launching it via Steam would be the American Dream. Same thing applies to Survivalcraft, it's a cool game that I ain't buying because it's not on Steam. How DARE they force me to not use a launcher for my game, this is madness!...
