Can't go full screen

I can start the game just fine, however, I cannot go fullscreen. if I change the settings in "options.xml" in the game directory to: "Fullscreen>TRUE" the game won't launch. however if it's "Fullscreen>FALSE" it works.

I can use my normal resolution in-game which is quite funny, but it's off to the side so I can only see 1/4 of my screen and not the entire game which is unplayable.

and if I set it to a lower resolution, say 1920x1080, then the game only covers half of my monitor which also doesn't feel right.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

My resolution is 5120x1440 (32:9 aspect ratio)

Whilst there may be workarounds other players can advise to try and enable widescreen in this game, the game does not natively support ultra widescreen or 32:9 aspect ratio's naturally, so we are unable to advise of any mods you can use to alter this as Ubisoft Support.

Yeah I thought so since the game is quite old but I can always play it on my other computer if I really want to.
