1. Type your Computer IP into a search engine (google:what is my IP?)
2. You will be redirected to your internet provider: Here you will need to acess your router or modem via ID + PW. (If you dont know, usually default is ID: admin PW: password)
3. After you have acessed your router/modem you need to go to Advanced Settings > Port Forwarding
4. Enable Port Forwarding and add a service Ghost. Start port 2346 End port 2348 IP4: (your internal IP adress)
5. Activate this service
6. You are ready to play with others
P.S. from what i know, steam is not compatible with gameranger, however, its faster to connect in-game using an IP adress not LAN.
Example: if i was hosting you would add my IP in the multiplayer "internet" section and connect.
If you are running any mods you must be sure you and your friend have same mods
You dont need gameranger at all.
**HOW DO I FIND IP4?**
1. Open Command Prompt (CMD)
2. In the Command Prompt window, type ipconfig and hit enter.
3. The IP Address on the line labeled "IPv4 Address" is your local IP.
