Report a translation problem
the reports go not only to you but also to valve, so best thing for anyone whos reporting posts to pace themselves, likewise with reviews the automated systems dont care if your cause for reporting is a good one or not, it can still flag people.
myself i got hit on fb as have friends for posting too often, the automated systems act on there own and should be careful of them.
ive seen forum bans, trade bans, community bans, gifting bans, buying bans, there is all types. and from long ago heard that if someone reports too often they have a chance to be flagged by the bot, old but still solid information.
then what comes next is usually reports from said person looked at less even if there good willed, and the possibility of there report function being disabled.
they consider mass reporting abuse of the report system as valve has to look at each report too, and if they get so many from one person they may close the book on them without looking at the further reports.
this is all stuff i learned years back
edit: if anyone cares too they could directly contact you gathering links to report directly bypassing the report system thus the chance of valve taking action against them bot or otherwise.
as those reports stack up on support also
notice that awhile ago they added a history feature for reviews so if a high amount comes in around the same time, you can usually tell if review bombing
old days people use to say MASS REPORT THIS PROFILE because such and such
that's when people began to learn that valve doesn't like mass reports nor multiple reports
one report per thing is enough for support to see it, just needs the constructive writing to prove why it should be removed or such.
hopefully you didn't get any marks against you for reporting so many in a short time or anything, as the automated bot does not care, and as for support they have to deal with so many tickets a day.
so yeah normally id say if its like the anti british mass review bombs, advise the devs or publisher too contact valve theyll handle it normally if shown proof.
it saves time for support having to check each review report ticket
sorry if my words may be off im lacking sleep/drink/food for few days now rl stuff
closing statements, anyone who was abusing the review system for anti british messages? hopefully proper action was taken against them
Happy holidays, as well. =)
