You only have 5 companions, its too low, and they are only level 3/4.
You need one of those: Either high level, either good quantity, for a good time as first playtrough player. But 5 are enough if you have a good build.
What mostly worked for me when I had low level companions, was having a Brute tank him.
I would debuff Lund with Weakning and the Brute would buff himself with the skill from shield. (Reduce incoming damage).
Not only that, the Brute would have at least 60 Guard. Mine was at 80 because I found really good starting weapon. (A mace which gave Protective Strike, doubles Guard).
With that Lund was pretty much stuck to the Brute until the rest killed him.
What helps to kill him even quicker is Poison, Burning and Bleeding.
Poison and Burning comes mostly from weapons, but you can have Poisoner Skill from Ranger as well, at that level. While Bleeding, you can use the level 3 ability from your spearman, the one which throws a spear.
I am sure many people here can give way more different examples and tactics, hopefully there will be one which you can most adapt and use it.
A tank (e.g. Swordsman) with both the Encouragement (30% damage reduction) and Deflection (70% reduction) skills activated in the same round, will take only 1 point of damage, no matter what level Lund may be. In theory, said tank should actually take no damage (due to 100% damage reduction) but the game does not permit that- 1 damage is the minimum that anyone will take.
So move this tank close to Lund, which prompts him to target that person, Then have all your other units attack Lund and retreat, which is feasible because you will never be engaged, even if you strike him in melee. You always want your tank to be the closest target to him.
Weapons that deal DOT's, like hand bomblets (chance of bleed on crit), poisoned daggers, firebows, incendiary flasks, and poison flasks are especially valuable because they bypass armor. If you have a poisoner on the team, they have a default Poison skill that costs 1 VP. But it's not essential to have one.
Archers with high crit rates, with the Hardened arrows perk, will cause bleed on crit, which is also quite valuable in this fight.
The other trick is to be sure that, once Lund knocks back your tank, that he/she move back into position ASAP in the next round, while keeping both Encouragement and Deflection up. Encouragement typically lasts 3 rounds (maybe 2 if it's not upgraded) but Deflection has to be renewed every round. Many early shields provide Deflection for 1 VP but the Protector subclass of Swordsman can choose Defensive Stance at Level 3, which provides Deflection at no VP cost.
You always want to be sure that all other characters are further away from Lund than your chosen tank. If you are accurate with your spacing, only your tank will take a hit. Personally, I messed up the timing and spacing once, during my fight with him, which led to one of my units taking a 300 damage hit. But by that point, the fight was nearly over, so my party survived.
For reference, I was level 6 and Lund was level 8 when I fought him, You want to be at least high level enough to have both Encouragement and Deflection, which will typically happen at around level 5.
I spread my crew out (not too far or they'd be useless) and have Lund's target run off as a decoy. The trick is to keep the decoy out of his range, but allow the rest of the company to get in close enough to shoot or poke and run.
Through a little trial and error you can get him to perpetually chase you without landing any hits. The tricky part is guessing who he might charge next. If you're not careful, he'll switch to a merc that doesn't have a turn to fall back and that bastard hits like a truck.
Bottom line, Encouragement and Deflection skills are your best friends in this fight.
Watch Lund's damage go from 300 to 1 when both skills are active. Weakening strike works pretty well, too, with one or both,
That's more than enough. Weakning, Targe Shield, Heavy Armor, Skill from Shield(Deflection), are more than enough.
