im very sure the wine farmers and the wine poisoning lady both dont work with the legion, and if you mean the other zone to the west instead of north im also very sure the wanabe Saint and the Dictator both dont work with the Legion as well......
so what exactly you speaking about????

It has been a while more then 2 years ago, since I did this.
So I might be wrong.

You do the Legion request. kill all deserters.
Poison the well.
Kill off that hero commander when you are done with the inquistion route (who else get the Countess)

Then instead of the hero commander showing up, the legion will show up as allies.

So did you go to the Legion Camp?
Their first quest is to kill off all the deserters.

Didn't they give you a follow up?

And killing off the Inquisition happens at the end of the quest chain.

As far as I'm aware, killing the commander and poisoning the well should be enough?

Help Vernalis then kill him on the bridge. Help the commander, then kill him and take the gold. Kill the well-poisioners; poision the well anyways.

That should be enough as is, since i usually pay the deserters to go back to Laheart

each mainquest in the Arthes region gives 25% questprogress and the order of the 4 mainquests doesnt matter:

• help the legioncamp "catching" the deserters
  
• help commander Hostes but you have to kill him afterwards
  
• help the abbot (i killed him afterwards, dont know if you can spare him)
  
• go to the Vernalis castle and accept the quest finding the well poisoners. find the well poisoners, kill them but poison the well anyway

after that you will get invited by the Legion

Didn't kill Abbot and i have Vernalis ending ;_;

Did the above quests. I didn't kill the abbot, didn't poisen the well, got Vernalis. Probably need to kill the abbot in that case.

I hired the deserters for the guy in the castle.

Killed the guy i escorted to the secret camp and opened the chests to steal the money.

Didn't poison the well.

Killed the abbot.

I got the legion option.

You are too useless to find something on your own and yet feel the need to act like others are inept for not giving you the answer (which they did, by the way, you were still too useless to figure it out even with more than enough information to do it)... Your type is the reason spoonfeeding and wikies have crippled game development.

Think of it like this. Do 1 quest in favor of each faction. Me I Poisoned the well after killing the guys (+1 Lahart). Completed Caravan Destruction but killed guy for the cash (+0 Lahart/Vernali). Saved Abbot (+1 Vernali). Killed the Deserters (+0 Lahart/Vernali)

Total In help
Lahart:1
Vernali:1

Both equal. Got legion ending

So in short if you help both sides equally or screw over both sides equally. Then you can get the legion ending. You can do any combo of these quests in different ways and still get the legion ending (look above and see other combos other players did).
