Report a translation problem
For me he was a blessing, as I wanted an axe-warrior but couldn't find one and he is also level 3 right from the bat.
Took him to town, bought medicine and well.. was about to get back at some point, if I get something from the wife. (like the knowledge-tome in the chest $.$)
But looks like you are one step ahead of me and tried that already ^^
He has a purpose in another quest later on...I wasn't able to complete the quest because I lost him though...
He had no trait in my game as well. Before curing him I didn't see whether just having the plague has any benefits itself. I doubt it though.
