How to move or remove furniture?

I can't find anyway to remove something I have placed, or even to move it if it was placed wrong. Is this intentional? It seems like poor UI.

Click the purchase items button, then you can drag the items around.
SELECTING an item to purchase is a toggle, not a locked in option, so if you cursor is trying to place an item just click the same item's box to de-select it.

I also don't seem to be able to remove items either.

1. click the "purchase item" button.
2. click the item you want to sell/store and then either select the GOLD COINS to sell or the golden arrow pointing into a golden box to STORE the item for later use.

you can also store/sell/move MULTIPLE items at the same time by holding the left mouse button and dragging a blue outline to highlight several items at once.
then look up in the top left corner where it asks if you want to sell or store all the items you have selected.
