Not really, kinda surprised by that myself. But there does tend to be a few to several guests either in the tavern or at the takeaway who leave without having had their orders fully finished when the day ends
I keep thinking the issue might be not having enough seats for the full amount of guests I can get per day, but when I do the add more seats, I keep getting only relatively marginal increases in the total amount of served guests
There's no problem not serving all potential guests. Of course if the potential is 5x what you are serving then you are getting a few coins less than you could, by not increasing your prices.
But your description does not sound like complete chaos. I think you are doing fine. A couple missed takeouts at the end of a day is not a big deal. It's not like it happened at 4pm.
It wasn't quite x5, but I hovered around serving only half to a bit less than half of the potential guests at all times and plopping a 10 seat table only raised the average served guests amount by like 10-20, or if I was particularly lucky.
But I suppose given that I reached the point where I get more gold than I can spend even with constructing more than one 5 star room, not serving all potential guests doesn't matter much anymore lmao
The number who get served is different, it depends on how many seats you have available in your bar.
Think of the visitors per day as the maximum number you can achieve, if your bar is big enough to fit them all.
The stats show how long in general orders take to complete and deliver.
My current Inn has 2 Bars on the ground floor and 3 kitchen desk's in the kitchen.
The waitress's at the bars is mainly assigned to drinks and cleaning and have low assignment value to serve food.
The kicthen waitress's is assigned food and cleaning and low assígnment value to serve drinks.
The last 5 waitress's is assigned only to sell take out orders.
The faster you can serve your customers you will have free seats to lure in new customers.
