This game is boiling my CPU
Hello!

I play a lot of games on my Laptop (HP Omen cb1902ng). RPGs, race games, simulations,... My CPU temps vary between 50 and 70 degrees, depending on the game.
But when I play Tavern Master, my CPU temps climb up to 95 degrees within a few minutes. What's the problem here?

I would send your saved game along with your specs to the devs so they can look into this issue ASAP. or for a faster response talk to them over on the discord.

I have also noticed my CPU fan speed increases while playing this.
Not enough of a worry to stop me playing though ;)

I had this issue as well for awhile. The game was running at 300 fps which was cooking my laptop. I set it through my nvidia control panel to run at 60 and it resolved my heating issue.

I wish it were that easy for me... FRAPS says i'm running a max of 60 FPS, and drops to 35 when I open the build screen (which is usually went I hear the fan start whining...).

Make sure you have VSync on as a number of Devs get caught using a 3d engine like Unity to render extremely low effort 2d screens and these get rendered at 1000s of FPS and can send your video card into overdrive. VSync will fix the issue until the Devs correct the game code to not over render simple 2d content.
Set the game FPS to 140 or lower, then you won't have any heat issues. Unfortunately you have to do so within your GPU PRG. The game itself does not give you an FPS lock option.
If I don't limit the FPS my GPU goes nuts and gives me more than 1K FPS.... which let's it run hot.
Really it is just bad programing from the DEVS.
