How to repair a burned item?

Title. Had my first burned kitchen supply chest, says to replace or repair... but I haven't figured out how to do either. ??

Go into the building menu and it gives an option to repair all at the top left. Unfortunately can't single select and build it back up, gotta buy it all which sucks since it costs the exact same to repair as it would to delete and rebuild.

I had a burned bench. It didn't give me the option to repair it. It only gave me the option to "buy burned furniture again for 50?" Why would I want to buy BURNED furniture for full price!? All I could do was sell it for crap price and buy a new piece for full price.

I think the auto-replace button is only there for essential parts like the kitchen table, where some Employees are probably connected to. Bc you can't sell a burnt item when there is a employee connected to. Without that button you would have a hard time to replace the kitchen. You are only allowed to build one at the time on the floor and you can't sell it until you move the worker. But you can't move the worker bc you can only build one :D You see the problem I think? :D

So a table or a bench is not connected to a worker and therefore you have to sell it and buy a new one.

Weird, OK. It would seem better to be able to repair it.
