Kitchen on second floor

Hi

I just unlocked the second kitchen, and placed it on my second floor. Hired a new chef, but he went to my original kitchen instead. I have told him to only serve second floor, but how do I get him to use my new kitchen?

open the furniture store screen and go to the counter the chef hangs out at and drag his character to the counter you want him at
