does anyone know if community maps can be downloaded from the internet to play homm?

Hey there!

My understanding is that you should be able to download and save maps to the /map folder to then play.

I've never tested this myself though, so perhaps someone from the community who does this regularly can share more.

For some reason the maps folder does not appear, should I create one?

Hey Tom!

Yes, go ahead and create a folder. You can also have the folder created automatically by opening the map editor. Just like Ubi-TheBerry, I haven't tried this myself, but I can see several players have discussed this on our official forums, at this link[forums.ubisoft.com] - I'd recommend giving it a read!
