Moving on from HOMM to Songs of Conquest

I'm a huge fan of Heroes 2, 3 and 5. I bought 7 on Uplay but I bounced off it. The world felt lifeless and the gameplay boring.

I'm glad to see that other players are enjoying it though, it shows that there's a demand for this genre. However I'm personally done with the series.

I've recently tried Songs of Conquest, an indie game that's obviously inspired by the early HOMM. It's pretty good.
