Campaign 5 Mission 1 Biara Bug

I can get Biara to spawn, but no matter what I do I can't get her to move across the map & attack me. I've tried several things, including deleting my saved game file & re playing, uninstalling & reinstalling the game, & reaching out to Ubisoft customer support. Nothing has helped me get past this mission, does ANYONE have any advice?! Please & thank you. :)

UPDATE: I'm not sure if other people are still having this problem, but I've researched thoroughly online & I haven't seen this fix anywhere. I just tried walking around the map & clearing out all of the neutral enemy groups. I got my main hero up to the level cap. Meanwhile, to prevent the boarders from being breached, I stationed a secondary hero near each gate so that they could retake it in the same day one of the boarders was breached. For me, this caused Biara TO FINALLY MOVE!!! Hopefully no one is having this problem, but if you are, I hope this post helps. :)

Replaying this game in 2021 and encountered this bug. It happens when you load saved game early on. Something in the code changes and script for Biara's summon gets screwed.
Try to avoid loading your game, playtest fights and stuff since everything is the same except witch huts.

I had this issue as well. The demon spawned but wouldn’t move. This happened a few days after the teal player attacked one of the garrisons. Once the demon spawned the garrison was still blocked by the teal player, as I didn’t have enough time to get back and win it back. I think that’s what bugged the mission. I reloaded to make sure my main hero was close and was able to beat the teal player right after he attacked the garrison. Then I moved back (garrison was empty), the demon spawned a few days after and marched towards my main castle.

I also read that visiting the mage/cartographer can bug the mission as well so I purposely avoided visiting those.

I just had a difrent bug: somehow only the main army/hero of the tealplayer was moving on the map,the rest 3 i belive didnt move for the most of the time,only when Biara show up she charged one of the bordergate and anihilated the defenders the rest finally move their lazy a**es and started actually attack the borders(before Biara I had no attack lol lucky me).

Currently im not playing HV,I only can recall me past expierence with this game many years ago when i had a phisical copy non steam ; teal player was more agresive and iven his 3 other heroes was following the script and attacked the garnisons; one time i can remeber you can win a defense battle. After that Biara showed up
I belive some scripts in the AI campaign dont work properly,well this is over 10 years old game

There is no chance to solve the problem. I have used the cheat code "@Win()" then it goes the next mission. I think it is the only way

Hey all. The first time I got to this mission, Biara came right after the new objective to defeat the Demons appeared. I wasn't strong enough to defeat her because it was early, so I started over. Now she ain't movin'!!!! Guess I'll just keep restarting, maybe I can re-create the environment when she first made a move on me.

Update: I restarted the Mission, and did not make any saves. I positioned three Heroes at the three garrisons going from bottom right up to the left. I sent Findlan back home, and sat him in the castle. Sure enough, Biara came knocking and I shut her down! Could have been luck, but it worked for me. Also, each of my Heroes stationed at the garrisons had one week's worth of troops, and when Biara came up through the middle garrison, she completely ignored the Hero there.
