I have been unable to continue development on this series and have found a new developer to take over my IP and use my stories for continuing development of the series if they so choose to do so.

As part of the deal, all existing products will be retired; you'll still be able to access the current build of the game/s in your library after retirement.

As per valve's documentation on this, the following applies to license holders:

Q. What happens to a retired game for the players of that game?

A: Retired games will remain in players' Steam libraries. Those players will continue to be able to download, install, and launch the game. The Steam Community remains visible and accessible for players to post and share in. The store page for the game remains accessible, but is removed from listings in the store.
