I restarted the computer
and everything launched at the normal 60 FPS...
I thought it was a glitch and was happy.
Then after about 30 seconds, FPS started steadily going down, like a ramp in reverse.
49 then 45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20 etc till it got to about 17.
This might be some kind of GPU memory leak bug.
I can't play a single of the library of games. Not one.
This time it was 1943
100% broken
Capcom. fix it or give me my money back
I mean there is no way the latest release was even beta tested for more than 30 seconds for something this massive to creep through.
This isn't right, and it isn't fair.
I reproduced the problem on my second laptop which is much faster than this razer (legion 7i, all cores are permanently overclocked to 4.6 on that one and the 3070 is a max P instead of max Q). That is running Windows 10 whereas the razer is win 11.
Anyway. I was able to work it out.
It's malwarebytes! Never has MWB interfered with a game like this before...
I exited malwarebytes, and FPS jumped straight back to 60, instant response, etc.
Played for 20 mins, no issues at all.
open malware bytes, within seconds the negative ramping of the FPS started.
I exited MWB and instantly back to 60.
This doesn't affect fighting or beat em up or SF30 collections, all by Capcom, but there is obviously something MWB doesn't like and is scanning and it's causing a conflct.
Bizzarest thing I've seen on this computer thus far.
Anyone else with MWB having an issue, don't go troubleshooting like I did, I will save you the time, it's MWB.
However I do wonder if any other AV has a similar conflict, as on the general forum someone is also talking about similar low FPS.
