Suddenly single digit framerate out of nowhere in forgotten worlds *************SOLVED****************
I have no idea what is happening.. Initially I tested all games a few months back and loved it and had no problem...
I was playing forgotten worlds, a solid 60 FPS, then suddenly it dropped to 10 FPS.
Every relaunch of the game is stuck at some crazy low FPS now.. The problem happened when I brought up the menu to change controller settings and stuff during gameplay.
Now, no matter how many times I close and re launch Capcom Stadium, there is this FPS issue.
I launched capcom fighting collection just now before writing this comment, then capcom beat em up collection, then 30th anniversary SF collection, all are fine! Computer was freshly restarted a couple hours back.

They have obviously broken something with the latest update.
I have disabled g -sync in NVidia CPL in case it was that, I have put screen in 60hz mode instead of 240 in case it was that...

I just loaded God of War and Cyberpunk to test those as they push the system to the limits (11800H/3070M/32GB ram) and they ran fine as always
I checked for memory leaks and GPU memory issues and all is fine

Just suddenly, arcade stadium is broken.

I paid a LOT of money for this, as did all who own the complete set, and I had to double dip to get many of the games I wanted, as I already had some oft he other included games in beat em up and SF collections!

This is WELL beyond the return date of the product. This is ridiculous!
Capcom, you can't do this, you have to fix it. This is not right.

Wow this is bad...

I restarted the computer

and everything launched at the normal 60 FPS...

I thought it was a glitch and was happy.

Then after about 30 seconds, FPS started steadily going down, like a ramp in reverse.

49 then 45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20 etc till it got to about 17.

This might be some kind of GPU memory leak bug.

I can't play a single of the library of games. Not one.

This time it was 1943

100% broken

Capcom. fix it or give me my money back

I mean there is no way the latest release was even beta tested for more than 30 seconds for something this massive to creep through.

This isn't right, and it isn't fair.

I am sorry if I startled anyone...
I reproduced the problem on my second laptop which is much faster than this razer (legion 7i, all cores are permanently overclocked to 4.6 on that one and the 3070 is a max P instead of max Q). That is running Windows 10 whereas the razer is win 11.

Anyway. I was able to work it out.

It's malwarebytes! Never has MWB interfered with a game like this before...

I exited malwarebytes, and FPS jumped straight back to 60, instant response, etc.

Played for 20 mins, no issues at all.

open malware bytes, within seconds the negative ramping of the FPS started.

I exited MWB and instantly back to 60.

This doesn't affect fighting or beat em up or SF30 collections, all by Capcom, but there is obviously something MWB doesn't like and is scanning and it's causing a conflct.

Bizzarest thing I've seen on this computer thus far.

Anyone else with MWB having an issue, don't go troubleshooting like I did, I will save you the time, it's MWB.

However I do wonder if any other AV has a similar conflict, as on the general forum someone is also talking about similar low FPS.
