Hey folks!

I know it's been a while, but I thought I'd break the silence.

For the last couple of months I've been rebuilding Stream Quest from scratch after losing access to a lot of the original source files (RIP old computer, thanks for the lesson about backing up stuff!).

After two years working in AAA, this seemed the right time to rebuild my old project - originally a Student project, would you believe it? - and release it in the form it was always intended to be.

But what makes this so special?

Well, you can see we've already updated all the store page and library artwork, and I want to share a peek at the new features with you.

Features already implemented
- More Characters, including unlocking characters with earned gold!
- Persistent Economy. Gold has a meaning now! Use it to unlock new heroes!
- Full Save system. Automatically resume from the last dungeon room you entered! Our most requested feature!
- Improved Lighting makes the game look much, much better
- Improved level hierarchy makes the game both much more stable and more interesting to go through - Explore from above-ground to deep, dark temples all in a single adventure!
- Completely rebuilt codebase for improved stability and addressing known issues - No more weird issues caused by non-US English character sets!
- Chat commands displayed on screen in a neat and nice manner at all times - Another of our most requested features!

And most importantly!

As this is being released as the 1.0 Version of Stream Quest, anyone who already owns the game receives this update for FREE!.

We are still a little way of getting it out there, but development is done live on Twitch for the curious, and we will be looking to hand out tester versions very soon.

I am pleased to announce the unveiling of our next Content update!

The Vikings Patch brings two new player characters - Aleta Ironhide and Esbjorn Godsworn, named in conjunction with the fantastic Kormakrtv on Twitch!

We have also included our FULL ORIGINAL OST! Composed by Farovar Music, it really adds depth to the game and we are looking into releasing it as free DLC for all owners of Stream Quest.

Finally, amid a slew of bugfixes, we've also added the functionality to have the game paused while in the Options screen, for those of you that wanted to play the game between other games without losing progress.

I hope you are all staying safe and well, and that leaves us only one major update from full release - it's a little way off, but I am finally brainstorming the Magic system!
