After searching long and hard, I found this thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/15100/discussions/0/846965882681265985/ which fixed the issue for me. If you have an NVidia card you need to manually set the Vsync to ON for the game. I saw three settings of AC1 in the menu, so I set them all to ON.
Later I missed one templar so I thought I'd skip collecting everything and left the flag and completed the game :p
but thanks for that tip, I'll see if I missed anything and if it can be resolved
I'd hate to think it's to do with the vsync setting, but sadly I know of other games where the setting can determine succuss or failure of mission.
Then I turned Vsync on and got it on my first attempt. Without Vsync, your jump will lose all momentum after a couple meters, and Enzio will just fall vertically like a brick, no matter how you jump or when you use the grab-ledge ability. It looks like he hits an invisible wall while mid-air.
The jumping is apparently limited by FPS, which is why V-Sync worked previously, but if you run the game in >60 FPS make sure you limit this to 60 FPS or below in the graphic options as well as turning V-Sync on.
This will enable you to get all the way to the pillar following the right steps.
however.
who is Enzio?
I'm pretty sure the guy's name is Alt Air Gillblin Laa Had.
DUDE...I think you saved me lot of frustration and time. I was trying for like 15-20 minutes before admitting that this is just not going to work... I found your information within 2 minutes of googling, got the flag on first attempt with frame rate limit... Il Mentore bless ya
In general, we advise running our older games at no greater than 60FPS and enabling Vsync when you have the option, as you may encounter input lag or your actions no registering correctly in the game, as the game was originally designed to run at these frames. This can sometimes affect our older AC and Prince of Persia games.
