How to fast travel?

As far as I can remember you can only fast travel from Masyaf.

So once you've been set new tasks from Al Mualim, upon leaving the Assassin base, you will be offered an option to fast travel to either the Outskirts or Assassin's Bureau in locations you have unlocked.

I don't think you can fast travel from, say, Jerusalem direct to Damascus (i.e. if you're not leaving after being assigned a mission at Masyaf, you have to travel their by yourself.. which ain't too bad given the environments are beautiful :P )

I also have a feeling that the fast travel ability is only available on 2nd and subsequent trips to each destination.
