Dictionary Hacker vs Password Cracker. Also, IRC chat, anyone on it?

Which one trumps the other in terms of, well, being good?
Secondly, do any one of you use IRC chat? I need some ingame advice.

Don't ever use the dictionary hacker.

Dictionary hacker isn't really worth it.

It only works on a system the first time you hack in, and only for a short time period. After you first hack into a server, they will upgrade their passwords to random gibberish, and after a certain point in the game, EVERYONE will upgrade.

It's not worth the faster speed for such a short time.

If you save up your money, you can buy a faster cpu that accelerates the Password Cracker significantly. I (used to) have a gateway that had 600 GHz of processing power, and most password cracking took less than a second, with the Decypher taking at the most 15 seconds.

Also, I tried IRC chat, but no one was on it :(

I think that a good amount of people still use the IRC, it's just that nobody's on it at the same time.
