What saves?! I thought game continuously puts immediate state to disk if you turn computer off and restart uplink it continues from where you were right when you turned computer off... :o
My original reply was probably too vague. When I said the OP should save properly I was referring to quitting the game and returning to main menu where you can choose which account to play with. This is the point vanilla uplink reliably saves (and when you save scum). UplinkOS on the other hand reliably saves even if you dont disconnect from the uplink gateway (go to main menu) and just straight quit to desktop.
