That depends which DS were your favorite and what you value most in them.

I've played all 3 of them and frankly out of all soulslikes i like actual FROM soulslikes the least. Only DS i managed to complete without getting bored was DS3.

This is a game that takes much open inspiration from Dark Souls 1 or 2, it's slow and clunky at times but not in the same way DS1 was but i still found it to be more compelling than DS, at least enough to finish it 3 or 4 times.

It resembles DS1 mapwise and DS2 in combat mechanics however it moves more quickly than both of those games. I would rather play this than those - crossplay multiplayer and NG+ features makes this the winner for me.

Probably one of the most similar soulslikes to Ds3 that I've played in a while honestly. Its got a similar visual and story theme going on, nearly identical combat system (plus sekiro parrying), same game mechanics, plus the umbral realm as a mechanic (which I personally liked a lot), and most importantly it got the difficulty curve just right (not unreasonably difficult, not too easy either).

Definitely give it a go.
