How different for the developer would it be for
lets say
a group of 50k ppl that wanted to buy it, seeing an epic exclusive and thinking "Never gonna support you ever" and actually dont
than a group of 50k ppl that wanted it and said hte same thing but ended up pirating it cuz they werent gonna buy it anyway.
what loss did the dev suffer by that action? the answer might surprise you.
but ofc I Will never promote piracy in steam forums it goes against the TOS, just saying boycotting is done cuz of disagreements.
Stalker 2 was released in a finished state? God, I just lost my sides laughing so hard.
My reaction was not due to poor performance, and yes, the game still suffers from memory leaks, but for things like A-Life. This was missing or not working at launch.
And funny thing about actions: They have consequences
Steam Community: *Despite the game being a disaster at launch, the community is still supporting them*
Devs: "Okay guys we are going to release the sequel on an unoptimized platform that is literally spyware UwU"
It does copy a little too much. Drawing inspiration is okay, but there is a fine line between inspiration and plagiarism.
That said, it is really strange they didn't add weapon arts. They copied a lot of ideas from Elden RIng / DS, yet also left one of the best parts out (why ????)
