easiest way back to tower of penance ?

I missed the dagger at the beginning of it , the one with 3 rune slots was wondering which way would be easiest to get back, have shortcuts opened.

The vestige from the three sisters. Also all weapons have 3 rune slots once you have the 3 rune tablets and upgrade them.

from the laprosarium, take the stairs up past the marksman and avowed, left into the corridor and dodge roll into the boxes to break them and lamp through the gate. the second gate should be unlocked per shortcut. take a right out the corridor and run into the courtyard before before the bridge to the tower, from there its a straight shot.
or
from the abbey vestige, return back to the manse and go all the way down the hill, past the gentle gaverus and turn right under the bridge, when you pop out the gate to the manse should be ahead of you, take a left towards the bridge heading to the tower, straight from there.
