Dude... you know at this point, it is just your ego and not admitting the fact the Pieta is really easy... Don't double down on something you know is not true. You can do it here because it is a game forum and the worst people will react to your BS is give you a clown and ridicule your online personage.
Don't even try this in real life...
try again
if keep dying change your tactic
try diff aproach try to memorise
take a break from screnn then try again!!
Point is Pieta remains the hardest boss I've faced in a souls-like for that point in the game.
I still think Midir was one of the hardest bosses.
This one hits for nearly your full hp every hit.
The problem is dodge animation in this game is OP and the invincibility frame is the longest of all the souls like series I ever get to play. It is like moon walking in front of the enemy. Seeing the blade hit you but does nothing. Not to mention, almost every boss attacks in this game screams, "I am going to hit you you better dodge!" in slow mo. Super telegraphed.
I agree the first boss is pretty hard for a first boss, and for a player who just started playing.
I also tried around 20- 25 times.
But one day later I rerolled to a much weaker character and did the fight in 3 tries.
her moves are easy to see, once you know them.
I just tried to "hug" her all the time, so she would use melee, and I knew how to dodge those 95% of the time
