People talking like there was some entity waiting until you are close to the end to schedule an invasion.
It was this way in every Dark Souls games as well. Get a grip. Could be invaded at any time, anywhere. Unless it was a no multiplayer zones.
Stop whining. There are valid issues with PVP, timing of PVP is not an issue, its luck of the draw.
Serve them a loading screen instead :D
The biggest difference is that in Dark Souls, you're rarely, if ever, surrounded by enemies. Much less when you're being invaded. And you have a lot more room to maneuver your way out of combat before engaging the invader. It's just not that way in LotF. I got invaded yesterday right next to the elevator that takes you back up to skybridge the back way, and literally was in a short hallway with blocked exits on either end, with multiple enemies surrounding me already then an invader on top of that. It needs work.
Sure, in Dark Souls you get twinked characters that have a really low level but really high end items, you even get cheaters from time to time, but the majority of invasions are winnable.
But in this game literally every single invasion I've had was someone with an unkillable character doing some kind of cheese to make it impossible to win.
I've had someone shoot me through a wall with Blessed Reflections as well. No idea if that is a bug or a cheat.
The bottom line is, it isn't fun to get invaded by characters that you wouldn't be able to kill even if it happened when you're at full resources.
Something is broken with this game, and it sounds like there are a lot of people cheating.
