Hello.

I left my car in the parking lot at the city hall and took the subway home. My car was missing this morning? Is that okay? I thought I would go to the police station to see if it had been stolen. However, as I was about to enter the building, the game froze at the loading screen. So I couldn't find out what had happened.

Check your mechanic app on the smart phone.

You can only leave your car in designated overnight parking spots or on your own land, otherwise it will be impounded.

The game must have indicated it, but I missed it. I don't know exactly what the overnight parking sign means. I've parked in front of the gate in front of my property and they took my car from there too.

In front of your gates is still city property so you can not freely park there over night, you need to park inside your property or in designated parking zones around the city.

I looked for my car, but I couldn't find it. I checked the phone app, but I don't know where it was taken.

I ended up passing out and the car got impounded. I paid to get it out, walked (using the Tracker feature that the mechanic offered), and found it in the back parking lot behind Stop bars. But, like the OP ("... However, as I was about to enter the building, the game froze at the loading screen...."), I froze trying to enter the building.

On another note, can we change the angle of the POV? I'd like to see more of the street ahead than the pavement under my feet.

I also paid to have it taken to the mechanic, but the map isn't directing me there. I don't know which mechanic to go to.

@nagy - I paid the mechanic, but the car was at the Police Station's Impound lot (behind the station). It took me a few attempts to figure that out with the Tracker as well. Then my last attempt was to just drive out of the lot without attempting to go into the Police Station. It seemed to finally work.

I think the developers still need to work on this, but it’ll come together eventually.
