This is an Early Access game and not every feature will be in from Day 1.
Cooking is a planned feature and you can follow the progress of all current and planned mechanics on the Roadmap[open.codecks.io]

i know this is early access i play early access all the time and well they all have cooking with their food products. just saying i never played and early access game that hasn't had cooking

Same here. I have played literally hundreds of EA games they all had food. I am spending hard earned money on keeping my strawberrys topped up, this a a total disadvantage. We need energy to play to make money and we are having to spend it on the strawberrys. Why would you release a game where the player is screwed. there are no snacks or anything
