Chicken Feed

I found it strange that the chickens are fed hay.
Wouldn't it be more common to use corn? Or perhaps include corn, lettuce, and greens?

Will this happen in the update?

Hello,

Chickens will scratch through piles of hay and straw to eat the grains that are in them, after all hay = grass which has seeds.
