was curious too, i saw a pickup more appropriate for a farm, did the code thing, 2 alarm cops surrounded but couldnt drive, so i bailed and ran for the river which is always the easiest way to ditch the drones.

Hello,
I have the same problem. To drive it, I have to quit the game and restart it. It's a hassle, since you have to sleep to save before quitting! I steal the car, drive home, quit, come back, and then I can take it to get the color changed.
