Is this like My Time series (Portia/Sandrock) or it's has actual farming and production chains?

I wonder is this game where farming is added just to fill space like in this children games like "my time series" where only reason to do farming is to do quests and fill out npc requests.

or

it's actual farming and production chain type of game where you grow and expand productions ?

I did watch few reviews on yt, but they all stupid lists of "features" , no one actually explains does game have in depth systems or it's just surface based "plant this to get x10 of this and give to npc" type of game?

The game is called The Ranchers, not The Farmers.

But the farming system is just as involved as farming life sims. Plow land > plant seeds > daily watter, keep weed out > harvest after x days. With also scarecrows needed it is a bit deeper then My Times serries but If you want a in depth farming game you better look at other games like Farming Simulator with mods.

Also the reason you would grow the crops is to sell them, or use them as feed for you animals. Which are a bigger focus in the end. There are kitchen foundations, so I guess there will also be cooking system not gotten so far yet though.
