Howler uses WinTab through VB Tablet. We'll have to see if there's an alternative, or a fix, to using something not depending on WinTab.
Can't say if there is a solution, it'll take time to look for one.
I wonder if your driver config has similar options. Check all settings in the configuration of Gaomon tablet. Perhaps you see an option for Wintab mode of operation or something like that. If you do, that may get you wotrking with Howler.
The question is whether Gaomon supports Wintab, still, or only MS Ink.
