If you're not sure what Howler can be used for, this thread might help. Of course it's a paint program, and has lots of brushes, particle and foliage brushes too. Then there's video and animation tools. And 3D landscapes, starting from heightmaps. You can also have animated heightmaps, and paint with video over video. Say for example have one layer be a simple window looking out and the second layer as a background of a cityscape. The issue i'm having is the 2 layers blend together making this look incorrect. That and it's a bit difficult to get the window image to show in front of the cityscape. I did this in gimp but it's faaaaaar from perfect as i'm learning gimp as well. I bought v2021 yesterday and up and running it. Then just about 30 minutes ago I bought and installed Painter. NOT THE THING TO DO!!! It dropped down the version to 9, and v2021 would NOT run. I ended up uninstalling both. When I tried installing v2021, it would not run. I had to end up going back to yesterday's restore point to get it working again. What a MESS it made.
