Finding them makes corresponding statues to show up before star gate, but they don’t contribute to the secret ending
Look like a replay 2 or 3 or 6 times is in my future, i know I've probably missed some things so far.
I've done a deeper data-mine on the game, but OP wants no data-mined information here. So I don't think I can really say much about that here unless OP wants something specific answered.
Did you find out where we are supposed to learn the codes?
Spoilered because it confirms or denies that codes are involved: No, that's the part I'm stuck on. And I haven't looked at them either to not spoil myself or work it out backwards.
The only thing I can think of is that the two dimensional shapes must correspond to three dimensional solids. However the resolution provided to us is not enough to distinguish the ones outside star gate
BUT the interesting piece is that all except one are lit up. Maybe it's a glitch, maybe it's relevant. Idk. I have found all the ancestors and the only moon on the load screen that doesn't glow is around the green orb.
You sure you found them all? I got them all as well and all 11 are lit up in the load screen for me, check the final area because that also shows the moon ancestors collected.
Hmm, it's not lit up for me, and they're all there in the final area. The Game Pass version might not have the hotfix yet (says "Last updated: 10/2/2023"), so maybe it was sneakily fixed?
