There's LOTS of really bad games on Steam that aren't in any charitable bundle. You guys are exactly what's wrong with Steam. These devs are donating their game (work) to help victims in Turkey and Syria and you guys decide this is the correct forum to air your grievances.
The devs didn't have to donate their work to help in the humanitarian crisis. I'm happy to have donated and gotten this game as part of that donation. What are you guys doing to help in the humanitarian aid for Turkey and Syria?
The developers probably had nothing to do with it and the publisher said "alright this game didn't sell well but we could get good will and get the game into a lot more hands at the same time."
Yes I get that humble bundles whole deal is that its for charity and its not about money but at the same time the mainstream or triple AAA stuff that shows up on is clearly devalued enough that the publishers don't have anything to lose.
Also let's be honest, as nice as it is for all the indie devs that did actually donate their games to the line up, it probably wouldn't have sold much without Gotham Knight headlining it and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if humble bundle paid the publisher for the keys like all those free games that are paid for by epic and amazon to drive customers to their platforms.
Because they're bad and wouldn't generate money for charity.
Yes the stuff happening around the world is terrible and they definitely need help but let's be real and honest, most people pay the minimum to get cheap games through humble bundle.
One thing i take issue with on HB is that this is almost a month late. The current $320,000 donation to charity could have been useful a lot sooner. it could have meant medical supplies, food and blankets for those people who need it as soon as possible. I wish it had happened sooner, that's my only problem with it.
It's still going to be a week before that money gets to where it's needed though. Still, i hope all that money really has the effect the people out there need in Turkey and Syria.
The horrendous building codes in Turkey and lack of proper oversight is unforgivable, the idea is to make those buildings earthquake proof and it wasn't done. Of course Syria is still in the middle of a civil war and it's very complicated.

i decided to keep the game, if it's bad or not, i can play it myself and figure out what's what. Who knows, i might come to like it, but there is only one way to know, by researching and playing it out.
Redeemed but atleast I had fun trying ;[
Same here - I love it when HB gets those donation bundles going - even if this title isn't that great, at least the funds went to somewhere they were needed.
I'm finally gonna play this game, it never looked that bad to me. It's not Arkham, but looks alright.
